Breaking Barriers: Ali Hassan’s Journey to Victory in the Disability Run

Despite losing his leg in an accident at a young age, Ali Hassan never let his disability define him. Growing up in Baghdad, he always had a passion for running, but after his injury, he struggled to find the confidence to pursue his dream. When he heard about the Disability Run in Erbil, he saw it as his chance to showcase his strength. With every step, he pushed through the pain and doubt, crossing the finish line to thunderous applause.

Ali’s participation was more than just a race—it was a statement of perseverance and hope. His story inspired countless others with disabilities to chase their dreams, proving that determination can overcome any challenge.
